The Reise Family Foundation is a private charitable foundation that was established by Leo and Geraldine Reise and their three sons.  Together they believed in formalizing the family’s philanthropic efforts in order to continue the Reise legacy of giving and caring for perpetuity.

Leo and Geraldine’s generosity began decades ago by supporting major initiatives within their local community and not-for-profit sectors of education, health, sports and arts.

  • They believed in fostering growth of individuals through sports and education
  • They were avid contributors to organizations that cared for others with compassion and commitment
  • They believed in their community and provided support in a humble and unassuming manner

These attributes are now passed on to the next generation of the Reise family and are managed by Leo and Geraldine’s sons… Leo G., Charles and Norman.

“I was not able to continue my education even though I had won a scholarship from high school.  It was the 1930’s and the economic environment was in a state of depression; I was the only son; and, my parents needed all the help they could get to sustain their home.  I always knew what a gift it was to receive that scholarship and felt it was important to pass that same gift on to others who proved capable”

~ Leo C. Reise
